In our eco day spa, Uhma Lifestyle Spa and Shop, in South Beach, Florida; we choose to use non-toxic recycled and renewable materials, VOCs free paint, energy saving equipments and air purifier, because we believe in helping shape the present, we help secure the future, a clean planet.
Uhma Nagri products are bio degradable, they don’t pollute the earth.
We use minimal, recyclable and reusable packaging containers in our products to help minimize waste and pollution. We encourage our customers and suppliers to do the same.
We pay close attention to progress regarding environmental issues in order to make improvements in our business and way of life.

UHMA NAGRI SOCIAL RESPONSABILITY
Our experience in Brazil has given us the understanding of the needs of people who live in a very different world, at the margin of the affluent society. And we are acutely aware of our responsibility, as individuals and as a company, to contribute to the betterment of these people.
By establishing economic partnerships with communities that can contribute materials, handicrafts and other items to the Uhma Nagri lines in a sustainable and ecologically sound fashion, we support the social and economic development of agro-extractivist groups, especially those of composed of women. Such is the case with a cooperative of cabocla women Quebradeiras de Coco Babaçu, which supplies organic babassu oil soaps used in the Uhma Nagri Amazon Line. Another case is the gourds in our Rainforest Gift Sets, designed specially for Uhma Nagri by artisan families from Brazilian Amazon.
